     Moscow International Motorcycle Show was opened March 10 through March 13 at Expo Center at Krasnaya Presnya in Moscow, Russia.
At the moment we've prepared the report in Russian only (English version will follow), but you may have a look at the pictures (55). Briefly: the show was a success, it is better organized compared with the very first show of 2004.

THE HISTORY OF MOTOCROSS IN RUSSIA (1898 - 1990s)

     It is believed the first mechanical "carriages" appeared in Tsar Russia in 1891, in Odessa, while 15 fuel mechanical vehicles were registered in St. Petersburg. The then vehicles were referred to as just "motors".

     The first motocross racing was organized on the 8th of November, 1898. The two-way distance was 41,6 km long, the road from the railway-station Alexandrovskaya (near Detskoye village) till the turn to the station Strelna was chosen as the event venue. Full Story. Pictures.
